By accessing or using the Disciples Network website, mobile site, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Purpose of the Service

Disciples Network exists to help connect followers of Jesus (“disciples”) and disciple makers (“disciplers”) for Bible study, prayer, mentoring, and Christian fellowship, both online and in person, in alignment with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20).

3. Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or using the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
  • You will provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.

4. Account Registration & Security

To use certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Disciples Network is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in a way that honors Christ and respects other users. You will not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Post or share content that is obscene, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • Impersonate any person or organization, including Disciples Network staff.
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Service.
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation or spam.

6. User Content

You may be able to submit profile information, messages, posts, or other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant Disciples Network a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, store, reproduce, and distribute it solely for operating and improving the Service.

You are responsible for the content you share and represent that you have the right to share it. Disciples Network may, but is not obligated to, review, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

7. No Professional Counseling or Therapy

The Service is intended for spiritual growth, mentoring, and Christian fellowship. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, medical advice, or crisis services. If you are in crisis or experiencing an emergency, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Disciples Network. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third parties. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

9. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided through the Service (excluding User Content) including logos, text, graphics, and software are owned by or licensed to Disciples Network and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or engaged in behavior harmful to other users or to the ministry.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, about the operation of the Service or the information, content, or materials included. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Disciples Network and its volunteers, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Disciples Network, its leaders, volunteers, and affiliates from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
